Please keep ur box for the new TV for 7 days (one of the delivery guy told me that day) just in case there is something wrong with the TV. Watch out for any physical damage, sound quality, Wi-Fi, BT and most importantly the picture quality. Bigger TV have higher tendency of getting "vertical color banding" on the screen. You can test it by playing those testing videos found on the web.

Hi all, got a couple of questions :

1. Is the Sony 55 and 65A8F OLED made in Japan or Malaysia?

2. Anyone bought it from Malaysia + pay SG GST since it is a lot cheaper ( ignoring that it's malaysia only warranty )?

3. How does the Sony 65A8F fare against the LG C8 & E8 in terms of picture quality? Since prices for LG in Malaysia does not seem as competitive compared to Sony.

For any bros whose interested, juz quoted $3299 with $300 grocery vouchers at vivo bd for 65nu8000.

Ok update. Decided to let it settle for 3499 and an additional 100 grocery vouchers. He probably won’t be earning comm from this deal. Didn’t want to ruin all his earnings. Not sure how many sets did he sell at that price ytd.

Is it normal for tv prices to go up? I recall when 55” samsung Q7F 2018 was first launched it was $37xx but now BD is claiming “normal price” $41xx but “special price” is just under $3900.

There is no fix rule that new tv prices must be lower or higher, just buy the model that meet both your eyes an wallet expectations will do.

if its an introductory offer for limited first few sets...why not? It depends on how each channel plays with their marketing promo...
