Am considering sony 55x9000F or samsung 2018 Q7F. Was tempted by the panasonic oled but the price concerns me. Its significantly cheaper than sony & lg OLEDs so dunno how its like.

This article/review may help you on the differences between the Panasonic OLED vs 9000f

By the way, I was at best denki yesterday, if I remember correctly, I was quoted $2599(?) for the Sony 55X9000f, $2000 for the Panasonic 55EZ950s.

If you are aware and can avoid burn in, the picture quality and price of OLED TVs in the mid sized range are hard to beat.
A Panasonic 950 55" can be hard for 2k according to recent reports.

Most probably making clearance for the FZ series?

But then looking at the price trend, almost all the OLED tv prices have been dropping by $100 per month on average.

A couple of months ago, it was said that if you could get any OLED 55” at $2500, it’s considered a great buy.
Now? Panasonic 55” OLED at $2k? Sony 55” OLED at $2600?

LG, Sammy and Panasonic tend to give out discounts on their runout models more promptly than Sony.
So the smart money is on last year's TVs, especially if the change is not a huge one..

I went to the best denki roadshow at Compass Point Seng Kang

There's also a best denki roadshow at Waterway Point, but I didn't see Panasonic TVs there.

Thanks. I went to best denki waterway point branch but was told es950 is currently out of stock. Only left the demo set which they are selling at 1899.

Hi all... after reading the thread, I have shortlisted 3 tv mainly for ps4 gaming and Netflix watching. Appreciate your recommendation.

LG OLED 55C7 - $2888 + $200 voucher
Sony 55X9000F - $2899
Samsung QLED 55Q7F - $2499

I have been using Samsung for all my life, so no experience with LG/Sony. Graphics wise both looks great to me.

I'm aware of that 55EZ950s at the waterway outlet, even asked a few times from the staff there if they have stock in their warehouse, always tell me the display unit is the last one they have.

Apparently, the Compass Point roadshow have stock at the warehouse, no idea how that works tho
