Why dont you check with the fairprice outlet for delivery? I remember reading from their site that fairprice xtra provides free delivery for electronic item purchases above a certain amount.
I did check with them and they mentioned that they deliver to certain postal code on certain days of a week. I kinda regret not arranging this earlier so I paid for someone to pick up and deliver to my place.

But at least there is free wall mount and installation! But no hdmi though

Register for warranty

Bought one last week. The deliverymen told me to wait for 7 days (in case need 1 to 1 exchange) before registering at Philips Singapore website. Also informed me to take photos of the serial no. label on the box and the invoice for registration. They sounded like they knew what they were saying but I tried to register at the website n fail coz it won't recognise the model no.

I know member rECKleSSfElla mentioned no need to register for warranty on post #136 some time ago but that is for AOC monitors not TV. Any owners know whether registration is needed and how? Thanks in advance.

For Philips TV, no need register for warranty cos if any issues happens, they can just check serial number against their system...if authorised Singapore set sell thru' proper channel....they sure will warrant.

Since AOC TV is also handled by same sales & mktg team as Philip TV in Singapore ie TP Vision SG, so same rule applies.

Thanks for the info. Just wondering why NTUC's deliverymen informed me to do the registration at Philips' website. Obviously there're some miscommunications between them and AOC TV's supplier.

Take what these deliverymen tell you with a pinch of salt. Keep in mind they do multiple deliveries per day for different appliances across different brands. And bound to have people ask them the same question of where to register warranty, and their standard patronizing answer would be "register at manufacturer's website". Fyi, both aoc and philips AV products share the same local service center. Can call or email them if you want the surest answer on what to do for warranty.
