Yup, I got it from Amazon. It can received all channels including CNA and OKTO easily. But I think a normal HD antenna should work as well.

Has anyone noticed that amid all this big fuss and hoo-haa over DVB-T2 in Singapore, all those TV shows that are really worth watching on Mediacorp channels, like those Korean, Hong Kong and Taiwanese drama serials, are all still in 4:3 aspect ratio?

How do you guys deal with that? Don't tell me every time your mother want to watch drama serials, you have to adjust your LCD TV setting to 4:3 aspect ratio? Or you guys don't give a damn and just continue watching a stretched 4:3 image on your 16:9 screen?
I watch it in stretch. I hate black empty spaces on my screen

Hi, I just bought Amazon ultra basic antenna recently. When I open up, wanting to connect to TV, the adaptor from the antenna to TV don't seem to be correct. May I ask, how you actually get it connected to the TV? Must I buy something to replace or what?

Buy adapter from electronic shop. I also have the same problem and got this from LHS Electronic from SLT.

Remember to buy the correct one according to your need.

Depends on what show you are watching.

Most chinese dramas should be in at least widescreen by now. But some countries still produce SD stuff thats why they are still stretched. Mediacorp do repeat old shows which are made before 2008, therefore they are SD and stretched.

Not sure if it can play .rmvb files but I have one to sell that looks exactly the same for SGD$30 - DVB T2 T Freeview HD Digital TV Receiver Box Compatible with Russia DVB T2 | eBay

Tested once only & packed it back. I don't need it as my PVR has built-in DVB-T2 tuner. PM me your contact number if you are keen.

This model can't play rmvb file. For rmvb files playback, you can consider this unit. http://www.mda.gov.sg/PublicEducation/DigitalTvConsumers/Documents/DVB-T2%20Stereo%20Receiver%20listing/DVB-T2%20Stereo%20Receiver%20-%20Uraku%20%281%29.pdf
