I live in Toh Guan and u can see the antenna on the 4th page at http://www.heanlee.com.sg/visual.html.
Yep, my Pana G11 have the DVB tuner and digital channels and HD5 are quite clear.

My headache now is analogue channels. Only can get clear reception if go thru the Starhub cable point... Trying to find a good way so that can switch between the two easily.
Did u try this? http://asia.cnet.com/digitalliving/t...2058201,00.htm

Its not so much to do with the equipment. Have a look at the antenna thread for some cheap options.

The main issue is your location and it varies from flat to flat, even in Bedok.

I have made one out of parts bought from Sim lim as well for 8 bucks.
Here is the proof of concept video that it works for Singapore HD5.

P.S. if you want a switch for SCV Point and HD Antenna you need this.

Today, I was watching Lord of the Ring in HD5 channel. When I checked the prog info, it shown my TV only getting Doubly Digital 3/2.1 instead of 5.1 surround sound as indicated by MediaCorp. Any experts can advise what kind of setting and setup should be done to receive 5.1 surround sound in HD5 channel?

Antenna do not differentiate between digital and analog. Types of antenna usually depends on the frequency you want to detect.

Hi Augy, you can buy all screws, washers, wires from home fix. Card boards from any art and craft shops.

For Balun Transformer, i am going down to Sim Lim Tower this week. I will get the shop name and post it here.

Regards.

This method does not work if you bought a certified spliter as shown in the picture. Unless it is a mixer !

Otherwise, get a cheap spliter which basically wire thru all the ports (ie no passive components inside).

What I used was to replace the RF splitter with a AB switch. You can get it from SimLim Square. Here is a pic of how it looks like.
