i think it is all the branches - previously i bought at 1199 at Ang Mo Kio branch, but i told them that they were running 999 sale at Gadut and they manage to bring it down for me to 999
Try Harvey Norman. I managed to bargain down to $999 before but bought another model in the end.

Hello there,

Bought UJ750 recently, to me UJ750 pictures more crisp and sound definitely better than UJ632. I have got a chance to compare side by side during LG roadshow...

Then again, it is all depends on your budget..
i believe the nano cell display in UJ7 definitely delivers better and superior PQ than UJ6...but not saying that UJ6 is not good...its just that UJ7 perhaps is better if vs. UJ6. to me, UJ6 is good enough. and of cos, that is when u compare side by side...unless u buying both set and placed at home side by side :p

For uj750, what setting you all set for motion? I feel that the blur movement picture when watching football is not good. My picture type set to hdr->strong

Looking to buy a TV (50-55 inch) between $1000-$1500 which is durable and provide decent graphics. I know nuts about the current technology but is in severe need of advice due to some time constraint on my part. Kindly advise if you are able to. (and where to get it)

I may wish to get a 40 inch secondary TV for the new home too if they have those free gift packages or something.

1. LG55" 55UJ632T $1450-Brand New
2. LG49" 49UJ632T $1237-Brand New
3. LG55" 55SJ850 $2200-Brand New
4. Samsung 55" UA55MU6100 $1599-Brand New
5. Panasonic 49" TH-49EX600S $1199-Brand New
6. Samsung UA-55KU6500 $1699-Display Set

Which one of the above better value for money? (and more durable)

Originally, I told the person I prefer a TV 50-55" (55" preferred) and between $1000 to $1500 and ask if there are any choices. After reading some reviews and comments in the forum here, I think LG 55UJ632T looks like a somewhat safe bet to buy. I can slightly increase my budget though.

Bro bargain harder.
I was quoted $1900 for 55SJ850 at Best Denki and Harvey Norman at Parkway Parade.
55UJ632 can be gotten for about $1300 as well.
I have ever bargained 49UJ632 to $999 at Harvey Norman before too.

My ideal tv size is 55" and about $1500 budget. But the LG55UJ632T's bezel is a little too thick.

That's why I am stretching my budget a little in the hope I can find something I like and yet not break the bank.

I got the following:

1. LG 55SJ850 - $2099
2. Panasonic DX750 $1749
3. Your Sony OLED EZ950-$3000 (out of my budget though)
4. Samsung SUHD UA65KS7500 $2099 - Display set
5. Samsung Curved UHD UA55MU8000 - $2149

6. Sony 4k HD KD55X8500E - $2499

I have not bargained very hard because I want to narrow down the list before I bargain for the 1 or 2 choices I am interested in.

All are brand new except Item 4 which is a display.
All comes with 3 years warranty.

I am considering Item 4 or 5. I know some advise against display sets but my rationale is they will still give you 3 years on site warranty. So I reasoned I am still safe in the 3 years? and it is a 65" with a nice bezel.

Or play safe and buy the item 4 which is a 55". But the best price they can offer ($2149) is already quite some distance from my initial budget of $1500. Wondering if anywhere else can offer a lower price. If anyone knows, kindly point me in the right direction and location.

I personally like the bezel of 55sj850 and is one of the reason I took it.
You go take a close and you will understand why as the front is totally flushed with the screen.
Other reason is because it is SUHD and comes with decent sound.
Like I mentioned, can bargain to $1900.

Thanks for all the replies.

I bought Samsung Curved UHD UA55MU8000 @ $1850.

Not sure if this is a good price but it may help future TV prospective buyers in their choice.
