I am on Xiaomi tv 65” for the past 4 years.
Recently I did a factory reset and disconnect internet from the TV.

The tv no longer feel laggy. As for entertainment wise just get a android box or Apple TV to watch HD 4K contents and make the Xiaomi tv into a dumb tv

Sometimes getting the most budget set isn’t the best idea ..

the older xiaomi variants dont have netflix 4k compatibility. the newer ones are fine.

i have a xiaomi mi tv 4S 65 inch that came out this year. Netflix has HDR and 4k support.

For me standard is good... vivid too bright, the other modes look funny LOL.
HDR is a different set of modes though.

so far i have no regrets with this TV.. only really minor complain is the screenbleed that is very apparent in black scenes..
another issue now is next time if want to upgrade, who will buy this TV and the huge transport issue

Enjoy the TV la... people don't really sell their TVs...
Get a Spears and Munsil disc, it's worth the investment to calibrate your TV..
Or pay someone to do so, but that's going to cost a few hundred bucks...

Trust me, you can see it if you have a good set..
I had a pro do it, and it is very sweet.
Add 1600 nits worth of HDR, Dolby Vision and you are in a different world...

haha...wow.. got any contacts for this ?

BTW i finally got a HDMI2.1 to connect the GPU to the TV courtesy of the RTX 3080 card.
Results are amazing indeed.

If you are willing to pay around a quarter of your TV price..
That's why I say, getting a disc is cheaper...

Is there a place to get the disc locally? Amazon doesn't seem to ship the item here.

so I should put to hdr mode when viewing tv program and movies
anyone u can recommend to do this? wat are the charges?
