LG SK8500 - connect laptop to TV

Hi, are there any SK8500 owners here?

Would like to check if you're able to output Laptop audio via HDMI to the TV

I can't seem to get it to work. Don't think the issue lies with the laptop or HDMI cable as it works on my other TV

My tv audio works perfectly with hdmi connection between Pc to tv.

You need to check on the audio setting.
Did u choose Hdmi audio output from ur laptop?

Btw, did u get perfect display panel without light bleeding at the edges?

Thanks for ur inputs. I will try again with new hdmi cables. My laptop can’t detect the LG TV for audio (works okay on my old TV). Display output works fine though.

Mine has light bleeding especially at the bottom edge

Doubt it’s grounds for a panel replacement?

My TV's light bleeding is obvious even with high local dimming on.
Feel like calling LG servicing to replace it.
Are you going to log in call for your replacement too?
