Both my TV still works fine. Durability is hard to say for electronics devices.
Anyway, if you buy low-mid range product. I believe the panel is not LG or Samsung original.
Eg, for by LG TV, I opened it up before and google the model of panel. Is some LG OEM factory in China. It was one of the 2nd or top model 6 years back.

Important is you like the design and satisfy with the picture quality.

7-8 years of service.........little daily use perhaps ?
I would say average about 2-4 hours a day. Longer hours over weekend while 1-2 hrs on weekdays.

Same for my Panasonic plasma. About 13 years and still refused to die even trying my best to torture it by extending more usage hours everyday.

Does it makes sense when I was told the Samsung with the One Connect box reduce the risk of spending a TV replacement due to the fact that if the Samsung Panel is still working fine then you need spend money to replace only the One Connect box ?

Compare to other TV like LG where you need to replace the whole TV ?

By the time you need a new box, it may no longer be in stock ..

Hi, do u have issues with ur Q95T?
I can’t watch videos from web browser.
Upgraded from q80R, and I had no issue with watching videos from web browser earlier.

Just bought the 65Q95T QLED. Watching in the Living room with some sunlight, so prefer something brighter and less reflective. Hope I made the right choice.

Something that won me is also the no gap wall mount. LG OLED will look good on desktop stand, but wall mount will have bigger gap.

No different. Board in TV is made to replace by its own. Replacing panel will have the board remain as original. Board is cheaper to make Vs one connect box as if one connect box has problem. It will be whole box replacement (logic plus power).

Every series use a different one connect box. They are not compatible. Advantage for one connect box is you panel can be some distance away from rest of equipment eg dvd, home system.
