and is it normal for the TV not to come with any NEA energy savings label sticker and the Sony model/features sticker on the TV or in the box?

mine didn't come with any stickers at all.

Standard packaging is like this, if you own TV like Sharp, Samsung
and etc.
Usually they have model/features sticker on the TV itself but for Sony
they don't practice this which is good actually.

They keep the bezels clean from any labels so user be focus on the picture
without any distracting.
I own Sony older TV like W700C, X8000E and etc. models.

I didn't noticed any stickers unlike Samsung or LG that I used to own.
NEA label is not mandatory, it's actually a rating guide for consumers.
Only one sticker that is compulsory is the Safety mark.

This can be found on the power adapter itself.

No stickers. I'm glad my TV panel is pristine. You can buy a display set if you like stickers...

do you find the black uniformity bad? normally I sit towards the left side of the tv and I notice the right side shows a "lighter" black (ie light grey) when the scene is black/dark.
.
Hmmm
Need to check, but dun really notice..
The effective viewing angle should not be so low

Yeah the reason I didn't get a 65" was due to m HT bookshelf speakers will have to alternative stand as the TV set will use up the whole width of my tv console.

I actually found the nea sticker in the box, taped to the side, before I threw the box away.

my previous LG TV had the nea sticker in the manual package iirc.

That's right. All should get one unless this is a imported set.
