Has anyone tried buying from amazon US?
It's cheaper than SG sony days prices, even with shipping included.
Not sure what's the voltage of the US sets though.

JB price also much cheaper. Even with GST paid at customs. Look for Sony Promos. You can check out major retail store in JB ( they are priced at least 8 to 10% cheaper than Sony listed promo prices )

They are definitely 100% compatible with Singapore sets.

Sony is made in Malaysia.

The only thing is warranty issue. you need to bring in/out of customs which is a hassle. But then if you want to buy from Amazon US (Tuner not compatible) This hassle is non issue, i guess.

I dont see 65 X95G on MY site. only the 85" maybe not out yet.

but they have 65X85G. list price RM7000 convert roughly $2.3K (GST$161)
https://www.sony.com.my/electronics/...-x8577g-series

Transport ? $$$ 65" is about 164cm in length.

usually the high end model price difference is quite a lot.

Sony Malaysia
https://www.sony.com.my/electronics/...-x9507g-series RM18.4K z(about $6K)

Sony Singapore
https://www.sony.com.sg/microsite/pr...00G%2085%27%27 ($10K)

That's the issue with buying in Malaysia - they may not have the model u want. 85 series is lower end compared to 95 series.

I got my Sony x8000G together with soundbar S350.
Canít get it work via HDMI ARC. Sometimes it will work for a while and then the connect failed. Now it canít work at all via HDMI arc. Optical cables works fine though for the soundbar. Sony support is not solving the problem.
Anyone encounter such problem and manage to resolve it?

My friend have the same issue before , he went to buy a Belkin hdmi , so far no issues
If u still have issues u should go back to retailer try to get 1 to 1 if the product is faulty

USA is out of question as tuner and voltage is different from Singapore. Malaysia can try if you are not worry on warranty claim. Don't think they covers your cost of shipping back in case of defect.

Actually I went back to them, he did tested out my soundbar and it could not work via HDMI arc too. They tried their display set soundbar and it works perfectly. So I exchange for the display set.
Hooked up home, works for a while and now canít work liao.

Ok. I know itís a stupid question but u did use the ARC port yah?
so long as both devices are still under warranty, I suppose just need to troubleshoot the problem. Best is if you have another device to use to isolate the problem.
