HTC Diamond User Thread

Dear all,

Starting this thread to let Diamond user to share tip and tricks to the phone.

First look to the phone:

PROS:
1. Rock solid build and cool design. Best ever design for a ppc
2. Cool user interface. Does not need the stylus to work around even for sms.
3. nterface is unique as compare to Iphone
4. Ipod wheels. Work like charm and during standby mode. The wheel will glow..superb design
5. Nice 3mpx camera. They have a new features call touch focus, which meaning you simply touch the click wheel (note:touch only) to do auto focus and click on the click wheel to snap the pic. I would say is unique.
6. 4gb internal memory
7. Hi resolution screen just like iphone
8. Reasonable volume from the phone

Cons:
1. Sound from the headset lack the bass
2. Earpiece not very good in quality
3. Slow focus
4. Battery life is short

Thats all for now....

Still discovering some other new features

Cheers

sms is smooth and easy using the half qwerty...but the full qwerty i got a bit of problem as my thumb are quite big.....

I bought a 3.5mm converter at pasar malam yesterday...and plug it in, but its no working with my diamond....so im not too sure...i think can only use the orignal one.....

If you are use to HTC series, basically it the same just faster.

and to add it is a fingerprint magnet so get out your 'moshi' pouch.

and it's small......

still basically a 'chilli padi' windows mobile device....

oh oh...and there's a nice little touch with the stylus...there's a magnet to pull the stylus back into the slot....nice.

this baby is neat, powerful and maybe a tat too little power to last, but think of it this way....with such a small device surely carrying your charger or any O2, HTC compatible charger including those portable ones isn't a problem right?....a small price to pay for looks, power and small size.....

the only issue that seem to be arising is the SMS wake-up...which is easily tweaked in the registry....
there are also some performance tweaks that can make TF3D run faster....
I have not tried yet......

I am liking it more.....
