I noticed my 20x overnight energy consumption was about 10%. How to prevent this?
Check battery usage then u see what causes the issue. Background apps are usually the culprit but bo pian. Even setting to dark mode also will drain.

Good deal. For me i plan to wait a few more weeks until it drop to about $900 before buying as Android phones has no resale value. Can only buy and use until spoilt.

I doubt drop so fast...
Mate 20pro was 1.2k...now only 1150.(street price after 5 weeks?)

Using the rate, before cny might reach 950. But that would means the phone does not worth (low demand) then we buy then?

If buying iPhone XR I don't mind paying around $1k as later still can sell, for Android phone my absolute limit is $900 as I consider it money down the drain.

Once it hit $900 or so I will still buy it as my current phone is reaching the end of it's useful lifespan and Mate 20 X meets all my requirements.

Money down the drain does not mean a waste of money, it just means that you will not be expecting to get any reasonable amount of money back from the phone.

Anyway mate 20x quite niche as the biggest phone, excellent camera also. I hope to use this for at least 2 years, Samsung S8+ has served me well but I've always loved big phones. Sony Z Ultra and Xiaomi Max or Mix were good but was either poor battery life or poor camera. Mate 20x ticks all my boxes, thumbs up to Huawei for this beast

Totally agreed, anything smaller than a 6.4 inch display is too small for me, was considering the note 9 (don't like curved screen), MI Max 3 (CPU too slow), finally Huawei has given us what we really want in a big screen phone without compromise only thing missing is wireless charging.

Those wireless charging, water resistance, notification led or facial unlock are minimal features that nitpicking consumers dreaming of the perfect phone want, but those are not deal breakers.

The only feature I miss is wireless charging the rest not a deal breaker for me. Another feature I will probably miss is the double tap option which OPPO, Xiaomi, LG has which all Huawei phone don't have.
