Yes, both P20 Pro and non Pro has it.
Great. Then does it mean P20 will be a better choice since its main camera has higher MP? If I'm not wrong, its 12MP vs 10MP for the Pro?

Nope.

12MP for P20.

40MP for P20 Pro with default to 10MP output, by combining 4 pixels into 1 pixel. But you can still take 40MP photos natively.

Simple explanation, the actual is a bit more complex.

Non Pro on paper specs same as Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, which is 12MP color + 20MP monochrome, but P20 non Pro has a bigger sensor which translate to better picture quality compared to Mate 10 series.

USA banned ZTE for being a national security threat. Huawei also under investigation now.

Really funny these brands still got buyer in Singapore. Better to buy other brands to be safe. SG government slow to take action.

FYI huawei telecommunication hardware /machines are running in most, if not, all non US Telco infra including Singapore.

US is purposely and painstakingly baring huawei out first and foremost for commercial reason, as if they dont, the US Telcos will utterly lose out and huawei will monopolise. The US gahment is no champion of justice. They bother because Huawei's growth will diminish them and strengthen you know who. Just like how they stop the attempt from broadcom to buy qualcom.

The fact is taking out huawei (for arguable reasons) in non US grounds is equivalent to partial handicapping your whole country. Our Internet and phone connections will all be down, no joke. Our garment not so boliao loh

Huawei might seemed new enough on the smart phone scene but it is a long time telecommunication giant globally.
They have the money for R&D and staying power to push their phones alike fruity and sammy.

I love smart phones with good camera and battery life and the p20pro is top notch in this 2 aspect!

Who cares about US? You are in Singapore. If the phone is good, why should people stop buying?

Very funny that USA can spying on other countries but other countries cannot spy on them, haha.. they are so conflict on themselves & very Boliao.

Buy iphone will get "spy" by USA, Buy P20 will get "spy" by China, either way also get "spy", I'm waiting for S'pore to manufacture their own brand of phone so that I will also under their surveillance to stay "safe". :s13::s13:

Thank you so much for worrying for us, amithaba... Lol.
Like you just said, 'may'.
Xiaomi may go bankrupt tmrw
The world might end next week
The smart phone might be obsolete next year...

Even if the slightest chance of losing, I'm sure xda will have the software rom support to last the 1 or 2 years

Thanks for your concern. Xiaomi is also a China company, they might be the next target for "U.S. Criminal Investigation For Illegal Iran Sales". You better worry about your phone. =:p

Enjoy your $1K phone & hope it will still be usable in next 1 or 2 years.

For me, nothing much to worry about a cheap 1 year old $149 non contract xiaomi phone :D
