Wow - they really want everybody online now. Banks same: but they tend to reward a few dollars to switch to paperless rather than penalise for wanting paper

Yes a few pages only and not 20 to 30 pages.
Did you fail your Marhs?

1 month 1-2 pages per subscriber.

1 million subsribers in a year, how much papers can you save?

The cumulative savings is huge.

Which bank is rewarding a few dollars to opt e-bill?

I must have missed this money saving technique.

I got accounts with almost all of the local banks.

All of them except BOC are on e-bills.

Don't be ridiculous. How much rebates you expect to receive? 10 cents?

Look at the overall benefit of going paperless. It is better for the environment.
Malaysia gives 3rm rebate and free itemized billing (10rm) for ebill and charge 1rm for paper bill.

Starhub allow for free based on those 60 and above in age.

If you have opted to add paper bill, you will receive it for free if you are aged 60 and above.

LOL.. the $5 per month for paper statement??

Kindly note that paper bills are chargeable at $1.00 (including GST) per bill per billing account.

However there is $5.35 for detail billing statements.

To save a few pieces of paper a month and claim you are an environmentalist is abit silly.

There are much more significant things you can do for the environment.

I was refering to the individual choosing not to receive a paper bill which makes negligible difference. Not wholesale ceasing paper bills for all customers, which obviously makes lot of difference
