[HELP] room wifi signal weak

Hi all, my wifi is very weak when im in my room, my room is at the farthest (5 room hdb)

My room is at Rm 3, not able to do wired cos cannot trunking and its quite far, my only hope is wifi extender or wifi repeater but i dont know whats the differences is, and where shld i place it..

or if you hv any other solution for me, greatly appreciated.

I think the best way forward is to relocate your router to Rm2, then it would be located in the middle of the house and you should be able to get wifi all over. Just need to pull a long Cat5e/6 cable from the ONT into Rm2.

either room 2 or place it near the walls of room 2 and living room

Add another router at the opposite, set to ap mode.

If you're not urgent, you can wait for mesh network routers like eero, luma or google onhub router.

Which power inline did u buy may i ask?

there are a few brands in the market... depending on ur router technology also... no point buying a hi-tech powerline adapters while your router technology is not as good...
