i rem got comments abt killer being very picky about cables
a few users found their cat6 cable (tested ok) didn't work, then switched to cat5e cable - OK, dunno why

they also mention to remove killer s/w, install driver only
bad killer

We used the myrepublic speedtest site. There is no option to change servers. I saw the tech guy starting up his com, going straight to the site and begin the test. He didnt change anything also.

I will check which drivers are not updated and try this. Thanks! Do u know which driver in particular?
hmm, that is weird if that is the case.

You are using Killer E2205. Try download latest drivers without software from their website.

Dont think its cable problem because the technician use the same cable and get 1Gbps on his laptop
Use a torch light and check the RJ45 contact pins on your desktop motherboard. If they are not shiny, use cotton swap and alcohol to clean them.

Thanks guys! I got 900mbps after installing the new killer network drivers. Although i never hit the tech's guy record of 950, I'm still very happy about this!

Thanks to all the guys who tried to help me, I really appreciate this

With Linksys wrt32x, killer network card will show a great improvement if only you game.. latency is reduced due to their proprietary prioritisation..
