Just flashed with the latest stable version of Merlin. We'll see in the next few days.
Me using latest of Merlin's.
Better than Asus's original but still same problem.
2.4GHz is the only stable one.
5.0GHz both channels disappearing all day long.

Could it be a case of the chip overheating ? Can lowering the TX power or move it to a more ventilated area or direct a fan to blow at it ?

Lower transmitting power will not help. You should down clock the chipset if u wanna have lower temperature, but at a cost of performance. Most people will choose to have a cooler instead..

Could it be a case of the chip overheating ? Can lowering the TX power or move it to a more ventilated area or direct a fan to blow at it ?

It was already selling in IT show..

Some places may have ran out of stock and I heard the supply will be low in the coming months..

does anyone know when the ROG version of this will be reaching out shores?
