For once I say..... Stay til Ac5300.... Why have 3 highway drop back to 2 ..

Agree ?
No leh.. cos i no confidence in smart connect algorithms.. but true la, i agree having 3 highways is better than 2 if I manually assign them to the respective highway..

But 469 vs 429, of cos 429 mah

$10/antenna stick + upsize in weight to 1.8kg (twice the original weight, even McDonald's upsize not that generous) makes the extra $40 worth it.
Lol... not as if I have 200 wireless devices at home to utilise all 3 bands..

Okay. I shall eye on ac88u..

The range for AC88U is better?

4x4 antenna design with AiRadar universal beamforming for wireless signal coverage exceeding 500 m˛ (around 5400 square feet)

If I don't need WTFast but prefer wider wireless coverage, which model will win my money?

No need custom firmware. All asus high end routers will have the iptv profile preset and pre loaded inside. All u need is to select the profile and then enjoy..
Thanks....

Brother actually I struggling with this thoughts too.... Like you I am already AC3200... With 4 mobile 3 laptops (at most 2 at a time). Plus a IPad . All separate into 2 x 5ghz band perfectly no issue .

If I dump AC3200 and go AC5300... Other than a new shape ...

What I gain at the remote devices ? Like nothing to see leh...

Liao lui right ???

Yeah.. sibeh liao lui.. hahas..

If I keep my ac3200, I will save alot of money..

To me, if I don't change my wireless devices, ac88u or ac5300 will only function the same as ac3200, apart from the WTFast feature..

Ac5300 also got 1.4Ghz I think.. hahas.
