Thanks will try that in the meantime.

Have already placed an order for the ac88.
Also in the meantime, you may want to
1.download the latest firmware.
2. Reset the router to factory default
3. Flash it to 1.06
4. Re-Configure your settings

Do you use wired network? If so, what NIC card/Motherboard you are using?
This is not my devices fault because they worked well with my singtel 7003, and as mentioned my whole house devices takes turns to disconnect.

Did the System Log shows anything about the disconnection? You can try installing merlin firmware, it may solve your problem.

Just use the quick setup to reconfigure your router.

what wireless device are you using?

are you able to even see the SSID when scanning for it?

did you accidentally turn off the wifi by pressing the button on the router? You can check the status of wifi by looking at the wifi LED on the router. if its turned off, it will have no light.

perhaps yes, but the main feature of smart connect is to group similar speed devices together so it doesn't get dragged down by slower devices..

Go to your router address(192.168.1.1), type your username and password (default should be admin/admin iirc). Then scroll down you will see System Log tab.

RE: Merlin 380.62_1

Upgraded to MerlinWRT 380.62_1 after having issues with missing Wifi (No LED/Unable to broadcast/connect).

Once upgraded 2.4 works while 5G is missing.

Anyone else facing the same issue?

Router: Asus AC88U (AP Mode)
