If you use the router check new firmware, this wouldn't come out. Only can download and update manually.

So I happened to have 2 units of AC87U in the ViewQwest showroom:

Firmware Version: 3.0.0.4.376_2061
5GHz mode: 80MHz
Distance: 5 meters
Internet plan: VQ Showroom 1Gbps symmetrical

You are welcome to drop by and ask for a demo

Upgrade the firmware to 2678. You may see further performance boost.

When showing the VQ connection, remember to emphasize that to maximum the VQ speeds using a wireless connection, one must go the router of wireless bridging. You may end up selling a pair of AC87U to each VQ customer!

Hmm, ok will update the firmware and try again, I was using the built-in update check, I guess that doesn't pick up the latest web firmware sometimes.
