Dear Shaobing,

We are working very close with QTN to improve their SDK driver.

I believe RT-AC87U will become more stable.

Best regard,
JK
Dear JK,
I used the 9177 firmware, PC and router connected by Gigabit Ethernet cable. USB3.0 interface USB3.0 U disk connection. u disk in the PC reads 240MB / S, write 150MB / S, but access after AC87U USB3.0 interface. U disk from PC to copy files to the maximum speed of only 40MB / S. I do not know what the reasons are, please give pointers, thank you.
best wishes
Shaobing

Dear all hope someone can help me. I am using this router model currently but my 5ghz seems to be pretty unstable. Especially in e evening, the latency is high and connection to the Internet is often very slow using my iPhone and iPad (even 3G is faster!!). However, using 2.4ghz seems to be normal and no issue. Is there something wrong with my router or a configuration i should adjust? I using default settings since first day. Hope to get some advice. Thanks

4 room with layout almost exactly like this:

currently using AC68U with middle antenna changed to:

I would use Unifi AP AC Pro (wireless only) on the ceiling with a hidden wired router (disabled wireless).

There are too many walls blocking the path of a single wireless router. What I see is your rooms including living room are lined up in a row, instead of around a circular arrangement. Even with a single powerful router, the antenna still has to have higher gain to compensate for the weaker signals from the phone/laptops, but this comes at the expense of becoming directional, so lose the multi-streaming bandwidth. Gain and directivity are opposing goals.
RT-AC5300 has 8 antenna, and I suppose the beamforming is suppose to solve your problem, but what I see is that current beamforming only improves gain a little, but not a lot.

Dear pepeEL,

We won't release to the public at the moment.

Best regard,
JK
ASUS can internally "fix" all of the bugs it likes but if the code is NOT released to users the bugs are NOT fixed.

Hello ASUS@SG

Please replace in source code file Main_Login.asp which i share for you:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/6vgn0jbjfv...Login.asp?dl=0

I corrected in this file:
-size bits of the logged out message (more compatible with tablets and smartphones)
-add hover on button SIGN IN (mouse pointer)
- correct position button SIGN IN

It look better than in original look.

ASUS@SG i found next bug. I have on my pc named ZBOX-PC installed Windows 10 Pro. But ASUS recognized my system as Windows 8. On other my notebook and PC with installed Windows 10 also has show in ASUS that is Windows 8.

And icon for Windows 8 and Windows 10 should be newer as in my friend:

Next on NAS Server SYnology show that is WINDOWS. But should show maybe DSM because system on Synology NAS named DSM (Disk Station Manager) or should show LINUX because DSM is some ditribution of Linux.
