but thats not the way it should be haha. of course that helps but what if we are streaming or downloading, this will cause disconnection. Asus needs to do something about it~

I called them up and was told to just update firmware. I already did that prior to even calling them and it still happens.
Yes i agree that is abnormal. Its damn sian when i stream halfway then kenna no internet connection error message.

I suggest you try the 2784. 2784 has a better wifi performance.. but do not 2784 has many UI bugs more than your current one.

Dont bother relying on avertek for help unless you have a hardware failure.. i called once and thats it, nv dial that number again. Haahs

realise my asus 87u, when i connect using the 5ghz wireless freq, after say about 30 mins or so, though i am still connnected to the 5ghz wireless freq, i am unable to surf internet. i have to log on to my 2.4ghz wireless freq and switch back to the 5ghz in order to be able to surf again.

Any one experiencing this also?
EXACTLY what I'm experiencing! ***Hi JK, pls take note***

You can do that or either disconnect/reconnect back to 5GHZ band.

Can the user ASUS@SG feedback to their technical team to release a firmware to counter this bug/flaw?

Not sure on baidu but working fine for my Melon & XFplay. Could it be Telco network restriction?

i have the same problem too. you just need to turn on and off your wifi on your mobile device, then it will work again. I'm using android devices.

Me too also experience that. Recently my 5GHz suddenly disappear and I got to restart my router then I manage to find it again. Miz my AC68.
