Is M1 fibre better than SingTel? Or they are relatively the same?

I am using singtel and my ah Ma is using m1. If you use both for Low media consumption, then wouldn’t matter much. Internet speed only matters if you are using it intensively during peak hours and is obsessed in speed numbers..

This depend on your location.
Fastest within a week.
Standard is 2 weeks.
Need to check with ISP.

ISP will liaise with NetLink Trust (NLT).
There will be 2 appt.
First by NLT and once finished ISP will need to be in your premise to install & setup /activate ONT for Fibre broadband.
As for NLT may no need to be in your premise.

Hi all, would appreciate if anyone can help clarify the following:

Currently using StarHub fibre via Nucleus Connect ONT and dlink router provided by them for internet, and Singtel ADSL only for SingtelTV. Will I be able to use SingtelTV through my existing router or direct through my existing ONT?

Also, is it possible for me to setup myself if required, or is there a lot of config to be done or additional activation of tp?

Thanks

Starhub do have their own TV service.
Just include it Starhub TV as in IPTV.

Singtel TV via Singtel network.
Cannot mix.
But you can have indecent Singtel TV by itself.
Go ask and apply for it, that is if you still want it.
Or take both... your choice.

I got both Starhub TV and Singtel TV for certain channels that only each one have.

So means if I want both, I got no choice but to use a separate ONT and router for Singtel TV? Or is it only need separate router but can use same ONT?

For Singtel TV please contact them to make the nec arrangement for you to continue the TV service.

As i am not familiar with Singtel TV.
But understand may no need to use ONT or router.
Most likely a phone line may do.

Erm, but the phone line cannot use after the ADSL network shut down in April right? I got the letter from Singtel that Singtel TV need to transfer to fibre and about installing the tp, ont and router.. that's why i post in this thread

But i already have tp, and ont and router also but provided by starhub.. so i was just wondering if it's possible to avoid using a separate ont and router just for Singtel TV

Phone line and ADSL are both different matters.
As there is yet no news on phone line.

Just like Starhub Set top box do have Cable TV and Fibre IPTV.

As most likely it is about Set Top Box and the way it provide the connection &or access to watch.

I mean that Singtel TV on ADSL is from phone line, so now that ADSL phase out, Singtel TV is no longer access from phone line. That's why need to transfer so that the Singtel TV set top box is connected to fibre via ONT and router.

Singtel TV is iptv right, so how to access without adsl, ont and router? Maybe I am confused and wrong, but I never heard before that Singtel TV can access via phone line only without anything else. I only know can access from phone line via adsl which will end in April, which is my current situation.
