That BCM don't have hw encryption. It has hw float but not encryption.
Any Router with openssl can do AES256 just how fast
You shld go read the datasheet.
Ok, yup, the datasheet does not show AES256 hardware support.
In any case, I'm running unencrypted openvpn now I don't forsee routers with native AES256 running faster than unencrypted openvpn assuming they're the similar in specs and the connection is the same.

Not true there are some hidden gems in consumer router with build in hardware encryption capabilities.
Just sharing ...

Did some info search and realized that the Tilera processor in the MikroTik CCR1009 has built-in hardware encryption.

"MiCA™ engines deliver low-latency, high-bandwidth offload" and "10Gbps encryption throughput" sounds pretty insane

CCR1009 uses the top-end variant "TLR4-00980CG-12CE" of the TILE-Gx8009 processor family. Google for the spec sheet in PDF file.

According to Astrill he was trying to made payment in Malaysia using a Singapore credit card. The payment had been made via PayPal in Singapore. Don't really understand what is wrong.

$600 ? Nah, I paid $100 more than the local launch price of WRT1900AC

... but seriously, is there another router in the $500-$600 range that's capable of 10Gbps encryption throughput and does >3Gbps NAT throughput without hardware acceleration

For China I always listen that Astrill is best.. Although there are many VPN who offer fast and secure vpn service for China.. ExpressVPN, PureVPN, NordVPN and VPNArea best for China

For those using the Astrill router applet, there is a new version 2.9.2.
One difference I can see is a new checkbox to enable "Block internet if VPN drops".

The whatsnew page hasn't been updated. The desktop app is still on 2.9.1.

Edit:
From Astrill Twitter feed:

Astrill VPN ‏@astrill 13h
We are pleased to announce Astrill router applet 2.9.2. New version brings an option to block your Internet in case VPN drops.

I have been using CyberGhost for quite awhile.

Pretty fast speeds and a decent number of server locations worldwide
