yeah. I was thinking of setting up the VPN client on the router so that don't have to individually set up each device that I use at home. and more importantly I can't set up a VPN on the apple tv

however it's the speed throttling that I'm concerned about. therefore wanted to see if anyone has a good recommended vpn that doesn't compromise on speed too much.
Not sure about the speed throttling part but I think it has more to do with router's CPUs/processing power.

from what I've read, ac88u cpu doesn't have AES-ni capability.. so it would most likely give you around 100mbps down and upstream if OpenVPN client is configured on it.. I'm using ac86u that supports aes-ni and it would give me a max speed of around 200mbps down and 250mbps up.

No one VPN can do all of the requirements for you.

In particular for China Geo-blocked content you have to use either Transocks 穿梭 or SpeedIn 快帆, two of the known to work solutions purely for China Geo-blocked content but not good for anything else.

No comments for torrent which is very grey to say the least. Streaming is the way to go.

if it's true, then what a shame for NordVPN to be taking part in such smear campaign..

I'm not a fan of restoreprivacy since their review are bias and user comments in their articles are filter away if it is against their review.

However, medium.com writer didn't provide any link to that facebook account for its reader to verify if it is real or fake facebook account. So, I'm not convince if there are any link between the two.
