Is there a way to broadcast wifi signal on a pc to devices that's near it? The PC would be connected to the router directly through ethernet. I do know that the PC has to have a wifi-card to broadcast wifi. I've read online that it is possible to do this. But does anyone have any clue or has done it before? Want to have any guidelines first.

if use access point , can recommend any brand/model which can talk to the singtel 1g ac1900 modem ?

As long as the access point is consumer series, there shouldnt be a problem.

Configuration vomes in when u buy enterprise models..

Access point costs money. And I already have a pc.
A cheap router like N56U doesn't cost much (less than $50 listed in Carousell) and it can be turned into an AP.
With AP, you can also connect other wired devices and don't have to keep the PC powered on just for the wifi.
