EdgeRouter-X + Huawei HG8240H not getting internet

Hi guys,
some noob question here,

just got myself ER-X to replace the old RT-N56U.

Provider is M1

i run through the wizard to use ETH0 as internet and ETH1 ~ 4 as LAN

so current config is
Huawei GPON -> ERX -> old N56U + Unifi AP

but it doesn't work
theres no internet or DHCP ip address issued

when i swap to
Huawei GPON -> N56U -> ER-X -> UnifiAP
it works ok, i can get the internet IP from N56U

-----
i tried power cycle the GPON a few times, but it doesn't work.
changing the MTU to 1472 also doesn't work.

any other ways i can do to resolve this?

Last i heard M1 tied their backend to your router MAC address. Fastest way is probably to call in and ask them to unpair it.

Yup, like what -Grift- wrote, for M1, change of router requires you to call customer service to reset the network, very troublesome but no choice. Starhub no such problem

Show your settings when you

Huawei GPON -> ERX -> old N56U + Unifi AP

Easier to help you with the setting/dashboard pages.

I am suspecting something but I would prefer to see your setting first.
