Now no such plan, minimun 500Mbps. Speed test must be via LAN cable.

I am on Starhub 500 Mbps.

Wireless N usually 100-120 Mbps.

Wireless AC can go up to 300-400 Mbps.

Agreed with you as it is same price $39 and yet user is getting lower bandwidth and no free router for 12 mths. More expensive if upgrade router.

I have been using their home broadband since 100Mbp/s. Then recontract they upgraded to 300Mbps. They value new customers. New customers automatically sign up for 500Mbps.

Recently I ran a test at speedtest.net using wifi and also LAN cable. Both are good wifi card, good LAN cable. No malware, non sense stuff. I used to able to get 150Mbp-200Mbps as I am on 300Mbps. Nowadays I am only getting 80-90Mbps using Wifi or LAN are same results.

Please share only if you experience the same or different results. Nothing else pls.

I am on the 500Mbps M1 plan which i re-contracted from the 300 and previously the 200Mbps and I get 500Mbps download and upload with speedtest. with iperf3 I can get ~940Mbps download and upload.

Even 1 wire damaged in an ethernet cable, the link speed will drop to under 100Mbps which I assume is what causing your slow speed

Guarantee + chop is broken ethernet connection. Previously I had a bad cable which can do Gigabit but when it got nudged a bit the speed drop to 90Mbps. Had to unplug and replug to get speeds up to 1Gbps again.

after getting a new cable and no matter how hard I nudged the speed still maintain at 1Gbps

HA 1.0 started in 2014 with a 4-yr (2 + 2) contract which I think is not available for application now. What is available currently is HA 2.0 with a 2-year contract which was introduced in Apr-2017.

You can download the pdf application form from this link https://www.imda.gov.sg/community/co...on/home-access

Note that after the 2-yr contract, u pay market rate.

I think there is income limitation and other things in order to get such plan. Not easy to get it.
