If you are using wifi, there are some limitation and some factors affecting wifi. It may not be the isp fault.

i am staying at redhill. the internet is ok. just that it is lagging every few hours.

Me staying at telok blangah area....was playing mobile legend online using wifi which is just next to me around 9pm - 12midnight. Intermittent lag...after 12am then is ok.

May be for some reason the router got into some issue then resolved by itself. Quite common for wifi. Always good to use a cat.6 Lan cable connection if possible. Do not think it is isp fault.

ur device got speed limit or not?
like 2 laptop wifi card in my home max hit 300mbps ....so 10gbps line also useless

it depends on your usage. if there are many people surfing youtube etc, use 1gbps. if your usage is very low surfing internet, no point getting 1gbps.
