Need help to boost wireless using Asus AX11000

Hi all,

I need help here on boosting the wireless signal in my house, especially kitchen area, which having only 4 Mbps. My configuration as following: -

Telco: Singtel 1Gbps

Physical Ethernet cable cat 6
- extend to middle of the house to Asus AX11000, and run into study room for laptop and iMac, having 615 Mbps and 879 Mbps

Wireless download rate
Entrance: 377 Mbps
Living room: 594 Mbps
Kitchen: 4 Mbps
Kitchen toilet: 378 Mbps
Master bedroom: 464 Mbps
Master bedroom toilet: 250 Mbps
Bedroom 2 (Study Room) : 270 Mbps
Bedroom 3 (Guest room): 494 Mbps

Asus router wifi config
Band 5Gz(1) 5Ghz(2)
Wireless mode N/AC/AX mix N/AC/AX Mix
802.11ax/wifi6 Enable enable
Wifi Agile Multiband Enable Enable
Channel Bandwidth 160Mhz 20/40/60Mhz
Control Channel Auto Auto
Extension Channel Auto Auto

So you AX11000 is at middle of the house or study room?

My Asus router is in the middle of the house. Thinking of Aimesh but seems ex. Already purchase this AX at $600++ and kinda disappointed got blind spot

Not thinking of that now. I think AX11000 can do more but I dunno how to boost. I try telnet first. Need to rekki how to do it. Get the value and shall discuss further.

Those results you got there... you tested with your laptop walking around?

Can you test with your mobile phone, just turn on wifi and log on to the 5gHZ band and turn off mobile data will do....

.... so what’s the number shown?

Maybe you can post the floor plan of your flat. It is a bit strange you get pretty decent speed at kitchen toilet of 378Mbps yet so low value at the kitchen of 4Mbps.

And try 2.4GHz at that blind spot at the kitchen.

Guess singapore concrete wall really block off those WiFi away

Just maybe... blocked by bomb shelter wall .... nothing can penetrate ... lol

Are you trying to upload directly here ?……… cannot la.

You have to upload to external host like Imgur.com and just type in the link here.

One ax11000 not enough la. Need aimesh. I am going to run 3x ax11000 wired setup.

Your uplink to the wider internet 1Gbps, your link from singtel router to Ax11000 also 1Gbps
