Possible to use Homeplug for Singtel IPTV?

Hi everyone,

Have anyone try or know whether u can connect Singtel IPTV by using HomePlug ?

e.g.
Aztech router LAN port 4
|
|
Homeplug (Living room)
|
|
Homeplug (Room)
|
|
Singtel TV Box

Another question, is it possible to get a 3rd homeplug to connect to another room ?

Thanks for reading

It's not recommended by SingTel and I doubt they will support it if it causes technical issues.

I'm currently using Powerline Homeplug for my Singtel TV, all seems good but of course it depends a lot on your living environment too that's why Singtel don't explicitly recommend the use of homeplug for Singtel TV due to reliability and stability issues.

I personally won't recommend using Homeplug. I used it before last time, very bad experience. Will be better if you just lay LAN cable all the way.

Thank for the replies

Now I know it possible to use homeplug but not really reliable + no tech support...

I was using the Aztech 500M homeplug when on SingTel home fibre 200mbps. No issue till I switched to 1Gbps unlimited and sold away.
