Review on myrepublic and singtel

Hi, I would like to sign up for the gamer fibre broadband from singtel or myrepublic but I do not know how reliable are they in terms of connectivity and speed. Care to share?

This is not a topic for Hardware Clinic. Please red up in the correct forum section, where this has already been discussed extensively:

All consumer ISPs are crap anyway. Be it traffic light, funeral black, delightful purple colour. Bear in mind "crap" in a sense that is to always expect some form of unplanned downtime and occasional slowdowns. Relative to other countries, SG is pretty decent.

The cheapest 1Gbps should suffice.

MyRepublic is not recommended

I've been using myRep for the past 2 years, register for 1Gbps but DL and UL barely pass 420Mbps, means I'm only getting 40% of the promised speed.

I just switched to M1 500Bps receiving around 460-480Mbps DL and UL around 400Mbps.
