Singtel HG8240T5 ONR with Asus

Hi guys, i was wondering if HG8240T5 ONR can be configured to be used with my RT-AC3200.

It was working with the old set up before i moved to my new place.

currently the new set up is HG8240T5 with AC Plus but i don't like it and wonder if i could pair it with the ASUS.

it used to work with the old ONT but now i can't get it to set up with the new ONR.

Any ideas on how i could use the RT-AC3200 again?

Thanks!

Yr Asus router must set to Access point for it to work with Singnet ONR.

If Asus connecting to ONT, it must be set as Router mode.

If it's an ONR, all 4 ports will be usable.

ONR all 4 ports can use.

why u want to log into the singnet ONR? different ONR versions has different login and passwords.

Just press the reset button on your asus router and connect it to the ONR. Then set up as access point for your asus router.

+1, try not to mess up the config on the ONR, if not really hassle. Since you're already intended or already signed up with SingTel, just suck it up and use the ONR, just configure your Asus router as an AP and use.
If you're just a basic user, it won't affect you in anyway. Don't worry.

Any issues with using Asus Zenwifi XT8 (default setting out of the box) connected to the SingTel ONR?

Thanks for the info. Will the AiMesh features be affected or reduced in any way if the xt8 is in ap mode. Iíll be using ethernet backhaul for both units and i intend to use only the 2 5ghz bands for wireless connections on my devices that supports wifi 6.

Doesnít affect. Donít worry. You checked your pm already? Can be done. No problem. You can use the 2nd 5ghz one youíve linked them up using ethernet backhaul.

Aimesh works in 2 different mode.
Aimesh router & Aimesh router in AP mode.
