TP AC4000 Wireless speed slowness

Anyone using this router? Can share the optimised setting? Currently my wifi transfer speed is around 300 kb or so. This is less than half of what i am getting from my previous Asus router.

I think you meant to say 300Mbps right? That is pretty normal wireless speed.

What is the client device used for testing and what is your previous Asus router?

Hi my transfer speed stated is correct. I am using the same client device. The only change is from Asus RT 87U to the current TP link model.

How did you arrive at 300 kbps? What is your testing methodology?

Hi, I am using backup software. Within the app, it will display the speed committed for the backup. In this case, nothing was changed except the router. I am not saying the speed displayed is accurate as I only use it as a gauge.

If you have replaced yr hardware, whether in terms of IT or maybe vehicle, will you not be interested to know the performance?
