Upgrade from AC66U

Hi all

Jus wan to seek opinion on my home WiFi set up. Currently I have a AC66U linked the modem in the DB box located in the living room. Activities on the living room are u mostly streaming and Web surfing. Currently getting speeds on abt 150-200 over WiFi. Subscribed to a 500mbs plan.

I am wondering if it is worth to upgrade the AC66U to mayb a AC86U And redeploy the AC66 as a AP?Wat is the realistic gain in pure speed if I do upgrade?

Any other suggestions welcome too.

Thks in advance

I’m using AC86U, on my iPhone XS Max, able to hit 650mbps+ consistently. I’m on 1gbps. Quite solid.

I had the ac68u, ac88u and now the ac86u. So far fastest are the ac86u and ac88u. Ac86u more stable and consume less power and temperature is more reasonable.

Thks for ur reply... Wats ur previous set up and speed?
