Any idea what's the difference between ipad bought locally and bought from US?
No difference in hardware unless you are buying 4G model. The power adapter comes with US head.

anyone have experience with teamviewer or a similar remote software to connect to a windows desktop and using it from the ipad pro?

apple store does not allow installing of apps to test stuff out so im asking here.

if you're wondering why not just buy a laptop.. i dont need one, i bought a few laptop before and always ended up selling 2 mths later.

i could use a tablet like a surface but Shapr3D is not available on surface

I have used Microsoft's RDP to connect to a Windows desktop without any issue on iPad Pro. Never use Teamviewer though.

How was your experience with it? I understand there's gonna be some lag, but is it a smooth experience?

Not much difference as compare to using it on a computer. As long your connection is good there shouldn't be much lag.

I have used both on my older iPad. Experience is good so long the connection is stable. Only screenconnect give me headache when i'm supporting the user, probably due to screenconnect server is in Australia.
