Ordered mine online few days ago and still in 'processing', nowadays Apple product shipment take quite sometime to get it deliver not sure was it causes by the covid. They usually have speedy delivery by DHL.

After using Apple Pencil + iPad, it has been my go to for note-taking, and decreased the use of physical paper.

Note taking in general as I’m not very good in drawing. Absolutely love the fluidity of the Pencil!:D

I bought mine, get a silicon casing for it. Put on it 24x7 to protect my iPad Pro as all iPad Pro casing will have the usual missing gap. Lol...have not decide to get Notability or Goodnote 5.
Please advise on which note taking app is good. Thanks.

Have you take a look on the iPadOS 14 updated Note app? I heard its quite exciting, improved quite a lot, and since its developed by Apple they can have anything they want with the Pencil.

Need to pay extra for OCR scan to doc feature.

Decided not to go for the pro and stick with my base model. So decided to get Apple Pencil 1.

From what Iíve heard from the YouTube videos ppl review on notability and goodnotes 5 is that,

Notability
1. Good structure of files/folder, more organise
2. Better experience for PDF file
3. Better UI

Goodnotes 5
1. More on customisation
2. Better writing / drawing experience
3. Much suitable for someone like to mess around on their note (for drawing)

Nevertheless, both are very good note taking apps. Both have their own purpose.

And pricing too

Notability - purchase once and get next major upgrade

GoodNotes - have to pay upgrade fees for next major upgrade

Nope. Currently using 2018 base model. Serve my purpose even though was eyeing pro model for some time.

Good points on that! Since Goodnotes 5 (released on 2019 irrc) still newcomer if compare to Notability. But both apps are constantly have bug fix and performance improvement.
