buy it from stores, preferable with receipt and physical box.
Sometimes apple requires you to email in proof of purchase.
and buy it after the 11th month dun buy now.
Buy now and activate it, your lsi activated or there are dents on the external shell, warranty void.

Are you saying that if I have dents on my ipad at say the 10th month. I go buy applecare at 11th month, I can still get it changed? Warrenty still on?

Got dents = possibility of reject.. case by case.

Possibly. Anything that can render your original warranty void (like triggered LSI) applies to the applecare warranty. This is why I only register applecare on the last week. Make sure your phone is all good before extending the the warranty for another year.

Buy your applecare with the box (and therefore serial#) and receipt. It's not that expensive for iPhone and iPad (M1 had promotions). The savings you get buying online is not worth the risks.

You can Buy First Activate Later . If there are good promos, that is. I still have a BNIB applecare, waiting for activation on my 2nd iP4 which goes out of warranty on the 25th of this month.

Just to check is SAPURA the only authorise Apple Service Centre?

Sent in my IPAD2 for repair due to faulty sleep button, got a replacement but got a smudge and hair behind the glass. Send back again, got another replacement also got smudge and dust...

Went back a total of 4 times within 2 weeks..

I personally wouldn't bother with applecare for ipad2. The problems that likely plague it are probably those that don't get covered by your warranty anyways, and after 1 year, you can always upgrade to the next ipad.
