Any one got idea how the new pad looks like?

exactly like any slim ipad. nothing has changed except for internals and very slight cosmetics.

Since i havent use touch id for a while..
I bought this ipad 6th gen...
Is it normal that u need to press home button or sleep wake button before it unlocks? I cant just rest my finger on a sleeping ipad and wakes it up automatically and unlock?

Because with pixel its like that 😂

You need to wake the iPad first before the touch ID will read. It is a first gen touch ID so it a little slower.

On the physical home button being fragile, it is no longer a problem with the latest OS. You can use the gestures to swipe up from the bottom to return to the home screen. Or the good old five finger pinch action also works. There isnít a need to use the home button except for the touch ID. For me, since I am using the Logitech keyboard, the keyboard wakes the iPad up and I just rest a finger on the touch ID to unlock.
