Can my IPhone 4 3G sim card run on IPad 3 4G?

As above,

Decided to go for IPad 3 instead of Samsung tab..

So I was wondering im currently using IPhone 4 on starhub..

I can just apply for additional sim card and run it on my IPad 3 right? Just that is on 3G network instead of 4G.

Any help here?

Only one can be active, the other will be deactivated if you get a new one.
