The best feature of the iPad is that it is always-on, and does not need to boot up. Something you will appreciate if you use your laptop to send one email.

dont assume that ipad is a computer like macbook or macbook air. Ipad is for a niche of people who just wanna use for internet, email and chat and who wanna carry around while traveling. Its like a 2nd computer for them. But if u think that u wanna do more than that, i suggest to get a laptop but off course the price wanna be double.

ya.. i agree that ipad will be a PMP device more.. with sufficient computer functions that free u from switching on a notebook just for a single email.

furthermore the long battery life, slim & thin fits into daily multimedia use.
Despite a lot of bad comment, i do think that this idea can sell (maybe not as hot as iphone)

price / design / function justify.

Someone is selling in HWZ Marketplace. You can do a search. It's a Huawei E5830 modem. Price is around $200+.
