CF card to IPAD

Guys

Anyone have tried copy from CF reader (8Gb) to Ipad, how long it takes...Said the 8Gb card is full capacity.

This has been raised in another thread. But sadly no update.
It's still unknown if cck can support a card reader tho.

Definitely support.
Transferred 8+ GB worth of jpeg + RAW into iPad via CF card reader connected to CCK.
Only advice is: if you intent to transfer from CF to iPad, shoot only jpeg unless you don't mind hogging up your iPad's memory with RAW.

Few factors here, You should have fast CF card reader (e.g. digisol) to get maximum speed. On the other hand, the USB has a practical limit of 20-25 MB/sec, so if you shoot raw DSLR at 24 Mpix, it's 1-2 seconds for every files.
