if i am not wrong

the iphone 4 charger only 5 w compared to ipad charger 10w

that why charging will be slower

just go use the ipad charger for both your iphone and ipad will do

how to be slowly when it's not even charging at all

iPad need 10w to charge, I surprised you can charge it with 5w

go read up

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4060

The fastest way to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter. When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge, but only when it's in sleep mode. Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer thatís turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.

Think TS was referring to the iPhone 4 cable; not the charger.

The charging rate should remain the same regardless of iPhone or iPad cable; it is the charger that matters as mentioned.
