Help!iPad 2 stuck in safe mode.

Help!iPad 2 stuck in safe mode.

Itchy backside go and do reset all setting and now my JB ipad2 is stuck at safe mode. Respring or reboot also no use. Any help there?

looks like you have to restore to factory settings already.

Problem solved. For those who are on JB iPad, pls think twice before you reset setting as it will mess up some of your JB app and thus stuck in safe mode.

I think it's good that you provide how you solve it. I'm sure there are some pple who try it before reading this thread.

To get out of safe mode, I deleted mobile substrate. It will also auto delete with it a whole list of JB apps that require mobile subtrate to run on. So make sure you list down those that have been deleted and reinstall it after reinstalling mobile substrate.

Open Cydia, look for Mobile substrate under installed tab. Delete it. It will shows you a list of cydia apps that it will delete along with it. These are apps that require mobile substrate to run on. If you want to reinstall those app later, make sure you copy down the list. For me, I just take a screen shot so I know what is being deleted.
Next, reinstall mobile substrate. Thereafter, reinstall those cydia apps that had been deleted earlier.
Next, say thank you.

Thanks ALOT. U sure saved my ass on that 1.

Another problem not sure if u know anything about. My apple Id and my update id is not to be the same. I cannot seem to change the update id to get updates...

any ideas?

Why do you think I reset my setting? Same ****, different ipad. Anyone?
