How to edit MS WORD docs?

I can read them fine but how to edit Word documents on the iPad? Can I do it without using Pages or DocumentsToGo?

your only chance is to upload to google document and edit online from there or use Microsoft cloud (not tried yet). Maybe can.

Ok between Pages, Office HD2 and DocsToGo, which is better? I want to be able to edit on my ipad, sync to cloud and then download to my laptop and vice versa. I think Pages cannot upload changes to cloud?

I think you are the best person to ask this question - which is better? They say format retention is better on DTG but QO is able to sync your files in the background while you work instead of having to do it separately and wait to finish syncing before doing another task.

In the end I opted for Office2 HD. It was the only one that can input images into the word docs - the other two (Quickoffice/Docs2Go) cannot. Also since I only wanted it for simple editing of docs it was very worth the money 7.99 instead of 19.90! I wish it could SugarSync but never mind at least it can do Dropbox. So far so good - no complaints!
