Ipad pro 9.7 vs ipad

is the ipad pro 9.7 same as ipad?
Because I saw apple website only have ipad pro 12.x and 10.5. there is no ipad pro 9.7 but only ipad.... so is this ipad same as ipad pro 9.7??

No. iPad is the new 2017 cheaper iPad. iPad Pro 9.7 is replaced with iPad Pro 10.5 already.

I think it should be:
iPad Air 2 to cheaper 9.7 inch iPad
iPad Pro 9.7 to 10.5 inch
iPad Pro 12.9 remains

That’s correct.

Now the 9.7 inch size is supposingly the cheaper and budgeted version of the iPad lineup.

The successor 10.5 has a new processor and a 120Hz screen with anti-reflective feature.

No wonder loads of pro 9.7 in carousell... ppl getting rid of it

The 9.7 Pro is still very capable of running apps.

On the other hand, some users have compared the display of both 10.5 and 9.7 side by side and observed that the new display is much smoother than the old model.
