Check your model number but most of the time it will be a replacement unit as Apple called it.

Well this kind of sucks, replacement unit become refurbished unit.
Hope it doesn't have any issue for this.

That's why I never liked replacements.
But I did rather have this "replacement" unit than having a white patch on my original unit.

F is refurbished, N is replacement unit.

When my 10.5” iPad Pro was 2 mths old and had some minor screen issue, was given a refurbished unit. But my 2+ years 7 Plus with logic board issue was given a replacement unit.

AFAIK, there isn’t any refurbished iPhone in Singapore. It’s all replacement unit.

Refurbished unit gone through more stringent check than the retail unit in fact. That’s why Apple is selling the refurbished unit with another year of warranty.

my last time iphone 5s warranty I received a refurbished unit too.... but I think if its less than 14 days instead of sending it for repair you should just return it back... that's what CS advised me but not sure if it applies for reseller like nubox

Think it depends on what is available as well.

No refurbished unit from iPhone 7 onwards.
Any reasons why?

Whether refurbish or replacement, as long it doesn’t have any defects or issues which matters most.

Agree and I guess we also don’t have much of a choice if your unit got a defect but still under warranty. I’d rather have a good working condition refurbished unit than a defective retail unit.

That time I should have check thoroughly when I purchased it at Singtel.
Now I really don't know if my previous model the screen is defect upon purchase or this thing come out after using it for awhile.

I guess now I will be using this iPad more often as compared to past since I have about 6 months of warranty left. If after few months no issue means my previous model has the screen defect upon purchase.
