ipad tends to "blackout"

My iPad 2 has blacked out from time to time... It's not a regular occurrence but it happens enough (espcia.ly when I'm at work).

Usually it's when it goes to sleep from my Mail Program (I think) then when I try to wake it up it's only black screen. Then I have to force quit power off and then restart.

Anyone else faces this?

i think u overcharged it... only overcharging ipad or ipod will result in screen blackout...just leave it to cool down...then ok liao afterwards.

Check your usb cable - are u using 3rd party ones?
Try use the original usb cable if have...
How are u charging your ipad?

Similarly, the times it happened my iPad was not charging.

I only use Apple USB cables for charging.

But thanks for the tip on the heat issue.

It happened to my friends' iDevices before, one thing I notice in common is that they do not have the habit to close their apps in the multitask bar.. After learning to close those apps every now and then, it stopped occurring to them.. So.. Try closing apps in the multitask bar and maybe it'll work..
