JB iPad 1 Dock Connector Faulty, Need Help!!

My JB iPad 1 dock connector is faulty.
Can charge but won't detect by itune or comp
When plug in. Tried on my 3 comp and different
USB port also not able to detect. Only show
'Not Charging' on iPad.
Need to restore it to send in but look like gone

Anybody can advise?

Is it after you jailbreak it got faulty? Could be physical defect. Your only chance could be to send in for repair.

i shows up cos the usb port power is not high enough to charge your idevice. You can still sync and transfer data as pernormal. Current macs i think has a higher usb port power. I was never able to charge my ipad on some old mac machines.

It also shows up if a 3rd party usb cable is used, although sometimes it still charges.

Try to put iPad in dfu mode see iTunes can detect or not.

1) plug in iPad

2) press and hold top button till SLIDE TO POWER OFF and slide

3) press both top and bottom ( power +home )and count to 10sec

4) release top button and continue to hold home button.

5) wait for iTunes to detect iPad in recovery mode and restore. (usually after about 1-2 min)

If iTunes did not detect , try different PC.

It did not work either..

I sent it in to Sapura and it was tested not able to be
detected & sync with iTune.
Gotten 1 to 1 replacement with 2 days but the replaced set
was IOS 4.2.1... It will be good if it was 4.3.3...
